Provence, France

By February 26, 2021April 7th, 2021Europe, The world is beautiful

La Provence is a region of France in which we stayed for 1 week on our 2000km Valencia – Rome trip. It was a great success, we knew that the French countryside was beautiful but we did not think we were going to enjoy it so much.

We spent 1 week on our 2000km Valencia – Rome trip

Start

Our route started in Arles, then passing through Aix en Provance, Marseille, Cassis, Le Barroux, Gordes, Sault and other towns of which I do not remember the name. One thing accompanied them all, charming, others in Gordes we were lucky to coincide with a local wine fair and after 3 glasses of excellent French wine I was very happy.

Good morning

This is a photo of the tent where we camped in a Municipal Camping in Gordes, very minimalist and surrounded by nature.

Truely beautiful small villages

The best time of year to travel in Provence I think is spring, summer maybe a little too hot.

Wonderful sea

We also visit Cassis and its beautiful creek, but be careful to get there you have to walk a lot and with the summer heat it can be a great challenge!
